- : LIMΞRΞNT (2019-present) is an experiential installation. A translucent torus shape hangs from the ceiling and encases metal ‘walls’ that are folded compactly in a panelled pattern derived from origami; such patterns are actively deployed in space missions and researched for such uses. Upon sensing someone standing beneath, the torus releases the metal walls which unfold towards the floor, forming an enclosure around the viewer/participant. Temporarily away from outside interference and distractions of the outside world, the participant’s attention is focused as much as possible on what is happening within the enclosure.
