Eren Bayrak (b. 1992, Istanbul) is an artist who uses photography as a primary medium . He uses the “gaze” of this "mechanical eye" and creates a narrative through physical spaces that leaves traces of human condition. Camera is a tool that directs a very specific view point however, his works gathers multiple fragments from city or domestic scape in a singular surface and creates a “directed plurality”. Images that narrowly shot, blurish or dark, Eren’s works takes photography to more generic and uncertain surface that allows viewer to doubt. The collection of images between different social/politics spaces creates a narrative that questions the relationship between public and private.
